Tiramisu is possibly one of the most popular Italian desserts of all time. Mixing the flavours of rich mascarpone, vanilla extract, coffee and cocoa, Tiramisu is a savoury heaven for many dessert lovers.
Today, we are sharing a Tiramisu “with a twist” recipe, perfect for a super easy and quick ice cream dessert you can make for yourself or to impress your (socially distanced) garden guests!
-Ladyfingers (boudoir biscuits)
-1/2 cup espresso or strong coffee (approx. 115ml)
-Porrelli Double Cream Vanilla ice cream
-Cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions: (For an individual serving)
-Make sure your coffee is at room temperature before starting
-Quickly dip 2 ladyfingers in coffee, without letting the biscuit soak in
-Place fingers on small plate or small bowl
-Top ladyfingers with one or two scoops of Porrelli Double Cream Vanilla ice cream
-Lightly dust the ice cream scoops with cocoa powder
